The center of access to many of the park's beloved activities
The corner of Powers Ferry and Chastain Park Avenue is a busy one, representing the center of access to many of the park’s beloved activities – the tennis courts, aquatic center, jogging trails, and the restaurant. New curbing and a crosswalk that connects the park to The Chastain Restaurant will be in- stalled to address pedestrian safety concerns.
Other planned improvements aim to enhance this area by increasing the park’s visibility and creating a welcoming
safe space for park users to gather or meet with the addition of inviting swings, beautiful gardens, and a new flagpole.
